National Identity Card of Nepal

National Identity Card of Nepal is a identity card with unique number for each and every person.

The person who is a citizen of Nepal and based on their information such as biometric and other data can get this National Identity Card.

The data is collected by National ID Card Management Centre (NIDMC) under the jurisdiction of Home Minister of Nepal.

This card would have a unique number, photo, personal Information and 10 fingerprints of the bearer.

The government is now collecting details of citizens in different districts for national identity cards. Currently around 4.2 million citizen have been listed in the system.

Also the national identity card number has been made mandatory to get the e-Passport issued by the government.
