February 2, Kathmandu. Actress Rekha Thapa is married. Sources said that she married Balram Shahi of Jajarkot living in Israel a few days ago.
This is the second marriage of successful Nepali film industry actress Rekha Thapa. Earlier, her marriage with producer Chhabiraj Ojha had ended in divorce 10 years ago. Rekha and Shahi have been in love for some time now. Despite the talk of love, Rekha was saying that she would get married only in the next April.
It is said that they got married after reaching the Kathmandu District Court. Rekha, who debuted with the film ‘Hero’ in 2056 BS, ruled the film industry for a decade. Nowadays she is seen more active in politics than films. Shahi is a tourism entrepreneur.
